Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective date: 28 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how OnXR Ltd ("OnXR", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on onxr.co.uk. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website owner. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work in a comparable way; we use the term "cookies" in this policy to cover all of them.
2. Cookies and similar technologies on onxr.co.uk
| Name / technology | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
onxr_consentlocalStorage |
Records your cookie consent choice so we do not ask again on every page load. | Strictly necessary | Persistent (until cleared) |
_ga, _ga_* |
Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes unique visitors and sessions for aggregated traffic measurement. Set only if you have accepted analytics. IP anonymisation is enabled. | Analytics (consent-based) | Up to 2 years |
If you submit the website contact form, your submission is sent to our processor, Web3Forms, who may set strictly necessary cookies on their own domain for spam protection and form security. We do not store a Web3Forms tracking cookie on the OnXR domain.
3. Your choices
You can manage cookies in three ways:
- Consent banner: on your first visit you can accept analytics or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser.
- Cookie settings: you can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.
- Browser controls: you can refuse, delete or be notified of cookies through your browser settings. The ICO guidance is at ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because they are required for the site to function. Disabling them may affect the operation of certain parts of the site.
4. Cookies we may add in future
If we add further non-essential cookies (for example, marketing campaign measurement), this Cookie Policy will be updated and the consent banner will list each new cookie, its purpose, retention period and the provider before they are set.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this Cookie Policy whenever the cookies in use materially change. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version.
Questions about this policy should be sent to dpo@onxr.co.uk.
